Adjusting Kittens

Things don't tend to run smoothly all the time.

First Grace appeared off colour or at least uncomfortable. Her kittens are getting crusty eyes but it doesn't scream flu at me. It is highly likely with her less than clean bathroom habits that they may have conjunctivitis.

I had to remove a second black cat off a well used road. Kills me whenever I see any dead animal but knowing someones pet is not longer with them (and right before Christmas no less) hurts to high heavens. Sadly it had been passed for quite some time but I moved it to the side of the road hoping his family would find him. I couldn't imagine leaving it on the road knowing some careless people would purposefully drive over it. He (I didn't check but I'm calling it a He) sadly used up all his lives but no animal deserves to have their remains disrespected in that manner.

Rest in Peace black kitty.

KitKat got put on some eye ointment as she had he worst case of the eye problems.

She still has time to clean her toes though
Sugar's babies are having a few hiccups in fully transitioning or are possibly stressing a little now that their mother isn't with them all the time.

When it rains, it tends to pour. Especially in issues with foster kittens.

My friend Emma (since I have more than one friend called Emma I tend to call her Boyer) came over and helped me bath some kittens. It was around then I noticed Splenda not being her usual self. She out of the blue came down with vomiting and diarrhea.
Splenda isolated with a stuffed toy as company.
At vet check Splenda got put on Betamox (same antibiotic solution as Tiny), was given a 1kg worming tablet (a 4kg one split). The vet advised to fast her to give her tummy time to settle. So she was only allowed her meds, nutrigel (a sugar syrup form of calories and energy) and water. It was touch and go as to whether she'd pull through her illness or the big dose of wormer could have made her worse.
Bouncing back slowly but surely. Noisy little girl.
When Sugar's babies were on the road to recovery I got issues with Graces' babies. Totally cant win.
*Sigh*
Honey ~ We'd like to know where our mum and sister went?
